Telangana state signed a Power Purchase agreement for 1000 MW

Govt of Telangana state signed a Power Purchase agreement for 1000 MW with Govt of Chattisgarh.

Chattisgarh Power Distribution Company MD Ankit Anand and Telangana Central Power Distribution Company CMD Raghuma Reddy exchanged the PPA documents in the presence of CM Sri K Chandrashekar Rao and Energy Minister Sri Jagadish Reddy.

Telangana state officials informed the CM that a 765 KV Double Line, for transmission of electricity which is being built between the two states, will be ready by September 2016.

TSGENCO CMD Sri Prabhakar Rao and Energy Secretary Arvind Kumar were also present at the occasion.
