Subhash Ghai plans to set up film institute in Telangana State

HYDERABAD: Bollywood movie mogul Subhash Ghai on Monday disclosed his plans of setting up a film institute of international standards in Telangana.

Ghai met IT and panchayat raj minister K T Rama Rao at the Secretariat to discuss about his plans to set up the institute, 'Whistling Woods', in the state. When KTR suggested that Ghai explore the possibility of doing so in the proposed Film City at Rachakonda near the city, Ghai responded positively, according to a release from the government.

Ghai told KTR that his production company, Mukta Arts, will provide adequate services to the film industry in Hyderabad. The city's infrastructure will aid in the development of the film industry, he added.

KTR invited Ghai to set up studios in the proposed Gaming City that will provide an array of opportunities to local talent.
