India's first stereoscopic 3D film RudhramaDevi to be in Telugu release now


'Rudrama Devi' 160+ screens in USA

India’s first Historical Stereoscopic 3D film Rudrama Devi is all set for grand opening on Oct 9th in both 3D and 2D with overseas Premieres on Oct 8th.  Telugu version will be releasing in 160+ screens in USA including 3D and 2D.

Rudrama Devi is a real story of warrior Queen Rani Rudrama Devi from telangana in warangal based who succeeded her father at the age of 14 and ruled Kakathiya Dynasty in 1260 AD. Anushka Shetty played the lead role as Rani Rudrama Devi followed by Rana and other several senior actors and actress like Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Suman, Ajay, Baba Sehgal, Nitya Menon, Catherine Tresa and Hamsa Nandini.

Dynamic Hero Allu Arjun playing key role as Gona Ganna Reddy which is expecting to be highlight of the movie. Last 30 minutes of Climax expected to be mesmerized and you will be glued to your seats.

Director Gunasekhar is directing and producing this film under his own banner Gunaa Team Works with lots of passion and commitment towards Cinema. Director Gunasekhar is known for some good films such as Okkadu, Chudalani Vundi, Ramayanam, Arjun as well as some box office disasters such as Nippu, Sainikudu, andVarudu.

His penchant for big sets is also well known: he recreated the Charminar in Okkadu and Madurai Minakshi Temple in Arjun.

Now Gunasekhar is shifting genres to make a historical film, Rani Rudhrama—the country's first stereoscopic 3D film based on the Kakatiya queen Rudhrama Devi from Telangana State in warangal.

Anushka Shetty has been chosen to play the lead role. This is yet another feather in the actress's cap after the blockbuster Arundhati, a part-period film.
